Filipino food competes in Asian cuisine awards
LONDON — Filipino restaurants and pop-ups in London are among the major contenders in the annual Golden Chopsticks Awards (GCA), an award ceremony recognizing excellence in Asian and oriental cuisine in across the UK.
The GCA aims to honor the contributions of the Asian and oriental cuisine in the British food industry.
Among the Filipino restaurants and pop-ups in the list are Romulo Café, Mamason’s, Ramo’s Ramen (Filipino ramen), Coco’s Lounge, Josephine’s, Maynila, Mama’s Kubo, Sarap London, and Kinilaw and Buko.
