Filipino cookbook bags 2 major literary awards
LONDON — A cookbook on Philippine cuisine edited by UK-based Filipino author Jacqueline Chio-Lauri recently won the prestigious 2019 Midwest and Eric Hoffer Book Awards following a successful release last September 2018.
The New Filipino Kitchen: Stories and Recipes from Around the Globe won in Midwest’s Cookbooks Category and placed first-runner up in the Eric Hoffer Book Awards.
